We are located at 7119 Amundson Ave Edina MN 55439, renting from the Village Martial Arts space. This is a space that was created to be rented out to martial arts and fitness programs. Excitingly, we are the first group other than the owner in this space. This gives us plenty of room to add classes and expand!

We Currently have two programs running out of our Edina location, with more coming very soon!

MKG Blend: Monday and Thursday from 6pm-7pm and Saturdays from 1pm-2pm.

MIXED MARTIAL ARTS, JUST WITH MORE ARTS!

The MKG Blend program is our signature training method at the Minnesota Kali Group. By blending five primary arts—Kali, Thai Boxing, JKD, Panantukan and Mixed Grappling—into a single program, Guro Faye has created a true mixed martial arts experience for thousands of students around the world.

At the Minnesota Kali Group we believe that studying different arts simultaneously is the best way to develop your skills in the long run. Each art seems to help the assimilation of the others. They also help you to develop natural attributes like speed, strength and endurance in different ways, which results in quicker and longer-lasting changes. As you work your way through the Blend Program, you will become a seriously well-rounded martial artist.

Thai Boxing (AKA Muay Thai): Mondays and Thursdays at 7pm, Saturdays at 2pm.

The Art of Eight Limbs

Muay Thai is known for its legendary conditioning, superior defensive structure and devastating offense. It’s often called the art of eight limbs—Thai boxers strike with punches, kicks, knees and elbows from right and left. In class, you will learn how to defend against and counter common attacks, how to develop good body mechanics, speed and power, and how to get in great shape while doing something fun. Muay Thai is an excellent way to build endurance, increase mobility and manage stress. And our “go at your own pace” approach allows students of any physical ability, age or fitness level to participate.
